`The riches of the glory of God`
Paul kneels before the Father to pray for the Ephesian people, and he prays this beautiful prayer ‘that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being’.
What, do you imagine, he is asking God for in this prayer?
Can you entertain the idea of the glory of God and that there may be riches within it available to you? Riches speaks of treasure and wealth, precious things – things to savour and enjoy. The riches of God, of course, are not financial but His abundance of resources made available to us; His glory speaks of his honour and majesty. Perhaps what is not immediately obvious is the part that his healing work in our lives may be part of the way in which God responds to this prayer.
Come and join us in this Healing Retreat week, either for a particular day or for the whole week. There will be teaching and opportunities to explore the themes in deeper ways; times for sharing and discussion as well as good food and comfortable surroundings! We would love to share the week with you.
Stay for the week but each day is a stand-alone teaching day offering you the option of staying in house or attending as a day visitor.
Arrivals from 2pm Monday. The retreat ends with lunch on Friday.
