Vacancy for a Volunteer Archivist
Are you someone who values both faith and history? Do you have an eye for detail and a curiosity about the stories that shape a community? We are looking for a Volunteer Archivist to help preserve and steward the rich heritage of our ministry ensuring that the legacy of CCHC continues to inspire future generations.
About the Role
As a Volunteer Archivist, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the Centre’s archive. You’ll work within the archive office to organise, preserve, and make accessible both historical and current materials that tell the story of CCHC’s ministry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively maintaining and organising archive materials
- Filing documents and records in a clear and consistent manner
- Locating historical materials as needed for staff or visitors
- Developing familiarity with archive box files and their contents
- Supporting the ongoing preservation of CCHC’s history
Who We’re Looking For
- Someone with a genuine heart for the spiritual and practical ministries of CCHC
- A proactive and reliable individual who can work independently
- Organised and detail-oriented, with strong filing and record-keeping skills
- Naturally curious, with a desire to explore and understand the Centre’s history
- Comfortable working with physical documents and archive systems

Time commitment
The role can be worked flexibly to fit in with your commitments but generally involves a half day every couple of weeks.
