Reflective Day - Creation

There are many illustrations of nature within the Bible. Jesus also used such imagery to talk of Himself and our relationship with Him and the world around us. We are blessed at Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre in having such a wonderful outdoor space. Hopefully the weather will be good enough for us to spend time outside reflecting on creation and its Creator. We will consider such questions as: "What can creation teach us about God? What can it teach us about ourselves?" The sessions will include communal input followed by time spent alone for reflection.

The day begins with registration from 9.30 am and introductions at 10.00 am. It concludes with afternoon refreshments at around 4.00 pm. Lunch is included.

During the day there will be time to explore the gardens and grounds. There is a fully equipped art room for you to enjoy and the lounge and library also provide comfortable places for your own relaxation.

The day will be led by Jane Thomas. Jane is married, with two grown-up children and one grandchild. Until recently the family lived and worshipped in Tonbridge where Jane also trained and worked as a Reader. She says "God seems to be calling us to a new ministry which is based more around our home and garden, opening the space for people to spend time in contemplation of creation and beyond to its Creator".
