Prayer and Painting is for those seeking to explore their potential gifts and skills in the art room under the relaxed and informal guided tuition of our resident artist. The week enables beginners or those more advanced to discover both the joy and the peace behind painting and sketching in a Christian environment.
The retreat begins at 3.45pm on the first day with welcomes and introductions, although you are welcome to arrive any time after 2.00pm. It concludes after lunch on the final day.
As part of the time together there is opportunity to share in the inspirational daily worship of the centre, and be part of the Tuesday evening and Thursday morning healing services that are also open to the public.
The week-end Prayer and Painting course differs slightly as there is no specific Healing Service.
The spacious grounds and gardens, surrounded by open fields and woods, mean you truly are away from it all and the facilities of the library, lounge and chapels are available to all who come.
Numbers taking part are usually held to about ten to give plenty of space in the Art Room. Should you feel the need to pray with someone during your time here about any issue on your heart or mind, members of our experienced Ministry team are always on hand for confidential and personal prayer ministry.
