Healing the pain of childlessness is a themed retreat led by Denise Cross from Ellel Ministries. It is for those who desire healing in order to conceive a child, those who feel the on-going pain of being without children or those who share in their situations. The retreat is also for those who have never married yet feel the grief of lost potential of family just as keenly. Jesus promises to comfort all who mourn but also to bring healing to those who seek Him and His ways. There will be an opportunity to look at possible spiritual blockages to conception, to receive comfort for the grief of past childlessness, to consider how to handle the ongoing situation and to receive the life-changing healing power of Jesus.
This retreat caters not only for those seeking a deeper understanding of the subject but also provides a time away in a relaxed and informal atmosphere of comfort and peace to restore and renew us in body, mind and spirit.
The retreat begins on Friday with welcomes and introductions at 3.45pm but you are welcome to arrive any time after 2.00pm. It concludes with a healing service on the Sunday morning, followed by Sunday lunch.
During the weekend there is time to explore the gardens and grounds or to go for a walk in the surrounding countryside. There is a fully equipped art room for you to enjoy and the lounge and library also provide comfortable places for your own relaxation.
Numbers taking part are usually limited to about 14 to give plenty of opportunity for worthwhile sharing. Should you feel the need to pray with someone during the retreat members of our experienced Ministry Team are available for confidential and personal prayer ministry.
