God's heart of healing is a themed retreat led by Helen Warwick, and is for those who would like to explore their relationship with God. The weekend will look at our image of God, focus on how to hear that inner voice within us and how to connect to God through creative prayer.

You may feel that God is far away, that you never hear God speak to you, or you may be confused at whether God is there. This will be a good weekend to challenge and explore this in a creative way and to find the path that will bring you closer to the heart of God where we find healing. There will be daily worship that includes Holy Communion and reflective prayer.

This retreat caters not only for those seeking a deeper understanding of the subject but also provides a time away in a relaxed and informal atmosphere of comfort and peace to restore and renew us in body, mind and spirit.

The retreat begins on Friday with welcomes and introductions at 3.45pm but you are welcome to arrive any time after 2.00pm. It concludes after lunch on Sunday.

During the weekend there is time to explore the gardens and grounds or to go for a walk in the surrounding countryside. There is a fully equipped Art room for you to enjoy and the lounge and library also provide comfortable places for your own relaxation.

About Helen Warwick (In her own words)

I am a former Occupational Therapist with training in Person-Centred Art Therapy, Counselling and Spiritual Direction. I am a Christian whom God has led on a healing journey through a chronic illness - ME/CFS. I am now completely better and my passion is to help others with their journey through life using a creative approach. I run a ministry that includes spiritual accompaniment, seeing people on a one to one basis, running courses and guided retreats. I have written a book 'Creating Gardens in the Desert' to help others in their suffering, based on tools I have found in my healing journey.
