Healing and forgiveness gives an opportunity to come apart for the weekend to explore the place of forgiveness in our lives and the difficulties and concerns surrounding it. It looks at the Christian view of forgiveness, the need for it, and its powerful releasing and healing effect. We consider biblical examples of forgiveness as we look at Christ's own teaching and at His own expression of it in His ministry, life and death.
This retreat caters not only for those seeking a deeper understanding of the subject as it relates to Christian healing but also provides a time away in a relaxed and informal atmosphere of comfort and peace to restore and renew us in body, mind and spirit. It begins on Friday with welcomes and introductions at 3.45pm but you are welcome to arrive any time after 2.00pm. It concludes with a Healing Service on Sunday morning, followed by Sunday lunch.
During the weekend there is time to explore the gardens and grounds or to go for a walk in the surrounding countryside. There is a fully equipped art room for you to enjoy and the lounge and library also provide comfortable places for your own relaxation.
Numbers taking part are usually limited to about 14 to give plenty of opportunity for personal space and worthwhile sharing. Should you feel the need to pray with someone during your time here about any issue on your heart or mind, members of our experienced ministry team are always on hand for confidential and personal prayer ministry.
