Finding God in Chronic Illness

This weekend is led by Helen Warwick and is an opportunity for those going through chronic illness to have some time out to review what is happening in their lives and to connect to God within those situations. There will be creative opportunities to explore personal journeys and to seek God within the suffering. The weekend will be a mix of talks, meditation, creative exploration, rest and prayer all within the calming and healing atmosphere of Crowhurst. Many of the sessions will take place in the comfort of the lounge and there will be plenty of space for rest and restoration.

The retreat begins at 3.45pm on Friday but you are welcome to arrive any time after 2.00pm. It finishes after lunch on Sunday. Numbers taking part are usually held to fourteen to give plenty of opportunity for personal space and peace.

During the weekend there is time to explore the gardens and grounds or to go for a walk in the surrounding countryside. There is a fully equipped art room for you to enjoy and the lounge and library also provide comfortable places for your own relaxation. We look forward to welcoming you to this God given place of healing and renewal.
