Easter Retreat. This three-day retreat is specially designed for those seeking to get away from it all and spend time in a peaceful, renewing Christian environment.
This relaxing retreat is open to everyone whatever their church or denomination and include daily worship and guided reflections, leading us through Jesus' journey to His crucifixion on the cross and onward to His glorious resurrection . There are optional local walks, as well as quality time and space for you to enjoy yourself. Good home cooked food catering for most diets, with your own comfortable accommodation, mostly en-suite, makes for a very special occasion.
The absence of any TV, but with good company of about eighteen people, creates a real time of refreshment away from the daily round of life. The spacious grounds and gardens, surrounded by open fields and woods, mean you truly are away from it all.
There is a fully-equipped Art Room for you to enjoy and the spacious lounge and library also provide comfortable places for your own relaxation.
The retreat begins at 3.45 pm on Thursday 5th April (Maundy Thursday) with welcomes and introductions, although you are welcome to arrive any time after 2.00 pm.. It concludes after lunch on Sunday 8th April (Easter Day).
