Where we are
The Centre is on the edge of the village of Crowhurst, four miles north-west of Hastings and close to the Sussex coastline. We are less than two hours from central London and one hour from Gatwick airport.
Arriving by train
There is an hourly train service from London (Charing Cross) to Crowhurst. The ‘garden’ entrance to the Old Rectory is only 100 metres from the southbound platform exit.
There are also hourly services from both the Hastings and Tonbridge directions.
Arriving by car
- From the North, via Battle
From Junction 5 of the M25, take the A 21 towards Hastings. At John’s Cross, take the A2100 towards Battle. Continue through Battle on the A 2100 towards Hastings. About a mile after Battle there is a signposted right turn to Crowhurst. Follow this narrow twisty lane for about a mile. The Centre is clearly marked by a blue notice-board on the left just as you enter the 30mph speed restriction.
- From the West, via Ninfield
Take the B2204 out of Ninfield to Catsfield, where opposite the Post Office you take a right fork. Follow this road past Catfield Church and go on for a further two and a half miles until you come to a T-junction. Turn left towards Battle and continue along a twisty lane for about half a mile through Crowhurst, including going over the railway bridge. The Centre is clearly marked by a blue notice-board on the right just before you leave the 30 mph speed restriction at the end of the village.
